Halloween Giveaway: Daughter of Smoke and Bone!

To celebrate Halloween, I thought I’d offer up Laini Taylor’s gorgeously written fantasy, DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE. In fact, I think I swooned more over Taylor’s prose than Akiva’s otherworldly beauty, although they’re both spectacular. This book is pure magic; possibly the best I’ve read this year.

In order to enter, you must be a blog follower. Then all you have to do is comment below and tell me about your best Halloween costume ever. But you get:
+1 entry if you retweet this post (Halloween #giveaway: DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE! http://tinyurl.com/3bgkpkw)
+1 entry if you post this link on Facebook

Contest is open until Monday, November 7, at midnight EST.
The contest is open internationally.

Happy Halloween!

My best Halloween costume as a grown-up was when my husband and I were Fry and Leela from Futurama. It's always a good time when you can wear a purple wig and a mask with one eye :D

My best Halloween costume was when I was kid and I got to dress up like Snow White. Now I know it's typical for a little girl to want that, but they weren't as easily accessible when I grew up and plus the costume came with the cute red bow headband :)

That's a tough one because I love Halloween and have had a number of ridiculous outfits over the past few years. I really enjoyed when my boyfriend and I were dressed as Goose and Maverick from 'Top Gun' last year though. There's something about serenading someone to 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling' while being in jumpsuits that is beyond special.

I have actually dressed up for Halloween, but my dream costume is to go as Maid Marian. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

I've only dressed up a few times & that was when I'm still a kid. Most of the times I'm in a fairy costumes but there is this one time I wear a wizard outfit with a broom and wand. Now I think that was cool since harry potter didn't exist at that time yet.

Oooh fun! Thank you for the giveaway.

My best Halloween costume was my unicorn costume. My mother and grandmother made it for me when I was about 6 years old. They spent months sewing it all from scratch.

Hope you had a happy Halloween! :)

I've never actually celebrated Halloween by dressing up. I'm usually the one stuck at home passing out candy.

But I remember when my high school had a costume contest, a pair of best friends dressed as Mario and Luigi. What made it so awesome was when they would do the little jog and high-five each other.

My best ever costume had to be when I was Sylvester the Cat. My mom made this full body costume with a head and everything!
